This .223 Remington ammunition from Federal is preferred by AR-15 owners across the US. These cartridges use a 55 grain full metal jacket bullet with a boat-tailed profile for added stability. These rounds come in boxes of 20 and use non-corrosive Boxer primers. Like other Federal .223 ammunition, they are manufactured at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence, Missouri. The Lake City Ammunition Plant is also the single largest producer of small arms ammunition for the US military, and has been in operation since 1941, and the plant produces well over 1 billion rounds a year. This .223 Remington ammo is high quality and is made to the same standards that the military requires for their rifle ammo. When shipping this product it is best to order in quantities of 25. There are 25 boxes of 20, 500 rounds total in 1 case. Ammo can not be shipped with firearms place separate orders.
