ENGRAVED AND GOLD INLAID REMINGTON MODEL 14 PUMP ACTION RIFLE WITH CHECKERED PISTOL GRIP STOCKS LYMAN RECEIVER SIGHT AND MARBLES FRONT SIGHT Cal .35 Rem 22" bbl, blue finish, engraved, gold inlaid with a bear surrounded by scroll work on left side of receiver and a deer surrounded by scroll work on right side of receiver Lyman receiver sight and Marbles front sight Hard rubber buttplate is marked "BISHOP" CONDITION: Very fine as professionally refinished Bbl shows 95% blue turning brown One sight dovetail has been filled and another has been plugged Bore is bright with strong rifling Receiver shows 95% blue turning pleasingly plum, slight scratches and some high point wear Trigger guard shows 90% blue with a clear Remington UMC Trademark. Engraving is well executed as are the gold inlaid animals. Stocks are very good with some feather grain, checkered pistol grip with black cap. "REED" on cap. Forarm is grooved and checkered and is highly figured. Stocks only show minor handling marks. Very nice gold inlaid engraved Remington Model 14.
